Settle every rider to the last rupee
Each delivered cash order adds to what the rider owes. At day end the rider hands over the cash, the system compares it with their orders and shows any difference.

Rider settlement with sample data
Cash on delivery, fully under control
When a rider delivers a cash order, the amount is added to the cash they are holding. Prepaid orders and card payments at the counter are kept separate, so the rider is only asked for the cash they actually collected.
At day end, or whenever a rider returns with cash, the cashier records what was handed over. The system compares it with the delivered orders and shows any shortage or excess with the orders behind it, so differences are cleared before the rider goes home.
Key points
- Running cash due for each rider
- Partial handovers during the shift
- Prepaid orders excluded automatically
- Shortage or excess shown per rider
- Settlement slip for the rider to sign
