No order slips through the cracks
Every order has a clear status: pending when it is taken, preparing when the kitchen or packing starts, dispatched when a rider leaves and delivered when it reaches the customer. Each change is saved with the time and the user who made it.
The live view lists all open orders with how long they have been at their current stage. When an order passes the expected time for its area, it is highlighted, so the manager can call the rider or the customer before a complaint comes in.
Key points
- Four clear statuses for every order
- Time stamp for each status change
