Order entry for a repeat caller (sample data)
Fast, accurate orders from the first ring
When a customer calls, the order taker enters their phone number. If they have ordered before, their name, saved addresses and recent orders appear immediately, so there is no need to ask for directions again or write anything on paper.
Items are added from your menu or product list with the correct prices. The delivery charge comes from the customer's area, special instructions are noted on the order, and once saved it goes straight to preparation with a printed slip.
Key points

Order intake: common questions
Can the same number have more than one address?
Yes. Each customer can have several saved addresses and the order taker picks the right one.
Do counter orders and phone orders go in the same list?
Yes. Both appear in one order list, marked by source.
Can an order be changed after it is saved?
Yes, before dispatch. Changes and cancellations can be limited to managers if you prefer.
Does it receive orders from online food apps?
Orders from other platforms are not imported automatically by default. If you need this, we discuss the options during setup.
