Dispatch without shouting across the room
Every rider on shift appears on the rider board as free, assigned, out on delivery or on break. When an order is ready, the dispatcher picks a free rider and the order moves to them. Orders for the same area can be given to one rider together.
Each assignment is recorded with the time the rider left and the time the order was marked delivered. At the end of the day you know exactly how many orders each rider carried and how much cash they should return.

How an order reaches a rider

Rider assignment: common questions
Does it show the rider's location on a map?
No. The board shows each rider's status and times, not live GPS location.
Can one rider take several orders at once?
Yes. Several orders can be assigned to one rider for a single trip.
Can I move an order to a different rider?
Yes. Reassignment is allowed and is recorded with the user and time.
Do riders need a phone app?
No. Assignment and status are managed at the counter. If you want riders to update status themselves, we discuss options during setup.
