Every workshop job, opened, tracked and billed
Open a job card when the vehicle arrives, add labour and parts as work is done, and close it into an invoice, so nothing used in the workshop goes unbilled.

The workshop, on one screen
When a vehicle arrives, the service advisor opens a job card with the customer, vehicle, registration, odometer reading and complaint. The job is assigned to a bay and a mechanic, and its status is visible to everyone.
Labour and parts are added as the work is done. Parts are issued from stock against the job card, so the workshop cannot use a part without it being billed. When the job is complete, the job card becomes the service invoice in one step.

Service job cards: common questions
Can one job card include labour and parts?
Yes. Labour, parts and other charges are all added to the same job card and invoice.
Are parts on a job card deducted from stock?
Yes. Parts issued to a job card reduce stock immediately.
Can I see which mechanic did the work?
Yes. Each job and labour line records the mechanic, and reports show work per mechanic.
Can I give an estimate before starting?
Yes. An estimate can be printed or shared, and the job starts once the customer approves.
